West Potomac High School
From Centreville:
- From CVHS, turn right onto Union Mill Road.
- Turn right (East) onto Braddock Road.
- Continue on Braddock Rd for approximately 11 miles.
- Take the I-495 (Beltway Outer Loop) South ramp to Richmond/Alexandria.
NOTE: Right-side of the roadway, and comes up quick after the traffic light! - Continue on I-495 approximately 8 miles.
- Take exit 176A (Route 241 South) toward Telegraph Rd.
- At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Telegraph Rd.
- Immediately turn left onto N. Kings Hwy.
- Continue on N. Kings Hwy 7-tenths of a mile.
- Turn left onto Fort Drive.
- Continue on Forth Drive 1-tenth of a mile.
- The road bends to the right and changes into Rixey Drive.
- Continue on Rixey Drive 2-tenths of a mile.
- Turn left at Fairhaven Ave.
- Continue 1-tenth of a mile on Fairhaven Ave.
- Cross Route 1 and continue on Quander Road.
- Continue on Quander Road 6-tenths of a mile.
- West Potomac High School is on your right—turn into the third or fourth entrance on your right and find a parking spot. This campus is huge, and very spread-out. The athletic fields are in the back, far-corner of the campus.
NOTE: You may choose to take Route 1 from the Beltway rather than our route - though it might be much more chaotic, especially with all the Wilson Bridge construction.
