From Centreville:
This route is the most direct, and easiest, but includes lots of construction between Route 50 and Reston Parkway. Many other alternate routes are possible. Invent your own!
- From CVHS, turn right onto Union Mill Road.
- Turn right (East) onto Braddock Road.
- Continue on Braddock Rd for approximately 2 miles.
- Turn left (North) at traffic light onto Fairfax County Parkway (Rt 7100) North to Reston.
- Take your first exit from the Parkway to West Ox Road.
- The exit lane forks - stay to your right as you approach
a traffic
light. (left lanes put you back on the Parkway)
NOTE: Do NOT make a hard-right. That puts you on Route 29 toward Fairfax City. - You will pass through two traffic lights at this intersection
before you find yourself on West Ox Road.
LANDMARK: CostCo and Home Depot will be on your right. - Follow West Ox Rd for approximately 4 miles.
Now pay attention - gets a little tricky... - You will approach a traffic light that turns West Ox Rd to the left—STAY STRAIGHT and the road changes names into Lawyers Road. (don't you hate how roads in Fairfax change names?)
- Stay straight on Lawyers Rd for approximately 1

AGAIN, pay attention... - You approach another traffic light, where Lawyers Rd
turn right—STAY
STRAIGHT and the road changes names to Reston
Parkway.
Still with me? Hang tight—almost there. - Continue straight on Reston Pkwy about 1.5 miles.
- Turn right (East) onto South Lakes Drive. Can you tell we're getting closer?
- Continue on South Lakes Dr approximately 1.5 miles.
- Turn left onto Tanbark Dr.
- You've arrived! Grab a hot dog and a coke and relax.
It sounds a little tricky. However, in a nutshell, once you get on West Ox Road, just stay straight 'til you turn right onto South Lakes Drive.

Travel time: minimum of 23 minutes (likely a bit more)
