Bowanko Commits to UVA

Luke Bowanko, 6′6″ 270 lb Jr. Wildcat offensive tackle has verbally committed to play for the University of Virginia. Luke, a first team All Concorde District, 2nd team All Northern Region and 1st team All Gameday Magazine selection chose the Cavaliers after visits to Virginia, Boston College, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Duke.  Prior to making his decision he had the opportunity to visit  both UVA and Virginia Tech’s spring game.    After less than a week of receiving the UVA offer, he gave both Coach Poindexter and Coach Groh a call to inform them of his decision.  Luke has also received offers from Boston College and Florida State University.
