DISTRICT Games & A New Contest!
Let The Games Begin
Published September 24 2006

The Wildcats are heading into their fifth week of competition with a 4-0 record. They now begin their three-game streak of District play dubbed “Murderers Row”. Beginning this Friday, the Wildcats take on their cross-town rival the Westfield Bulldogs. The battle begins at 7:30 pm at Westfield. All three games are important as they could very well decide post-season play. Come early, though – past attendance records at these games have been 7,000 – 8,000!
There’s More!
The Editors of WildcatNation.org have “cooked” up another contest.
Starting Monday, September 25th at 12 am through Friday
September 29th at 4 pm you can submit your ballot for the number of
total collective points your Wildcats will score
for the next three games. You don’t have to
guess a winner of the games, just the total number of points Centreville will
score after all of their next three games are complete. For example, if Centreville
scores 30, 35, and 25 against their next three opponents, your guess would
be 90. The first email that arrives with the correct
tally of total points is
the winner—speaking of which...
So, What Do I Win?
The winner will dine in style, courtesy of one of our local restaurant supporters, at our special WildcatNation.org Tailgate Party before the Homecoming Game October 20th. We will have some of our football alums drop by and other special guests in addition to great food. Plus, you get special “blue” seating FREE at the game. So think fast – this contest will close at 4pm Friday, September 29.
Explain That Again?
Simply put, guess the total number of points that the Varsity Wildcats will score in the next three games (Westfield, Oakton, Robinson). The first email that arrives in our inbox with the correct total points (without going over) is the winner!
How Do I Send In My Guess?
We'll need your name, contact information, and your guess (for example: "My guess is 15 points"). One guess per email address, please! Guesses will be accepted through 4PM Friday, September 29. Good luck and GO WILDCATS!
