2006 Sees a Centreville "first"
Half Time Hoopla
Published October 22 2006
The 2006 Homecoming half time extravaganza rolled through Trussell Stadium
with floats, music, dancers and car loads of princesses.
The Homecoming
parade rounded the track in the stadium with the final opportunity for fans to cheer-on
the float from each class.
The marching band took the field and entertained
the audience with their talent and sparkling energy. The dance
team followed
with a spirited performance which was energized
the crowd for the introduction
of the 2006 Homecoming Court. The SGA officers joined Mr.
Campbell and Sarah
Langan on the football field. Just behind them each member of the court and
their escorts was announced. With the entire court on the field, each member
of the senior court opened their flower box to learn who the winner would
be for 2006. Surprise! The 2006 Homecoming has two winners! Jung-Ah
Kim and
Julie Tatom were both crowned Homecoming
Queen for 2006. Congratulations
to the winners, all the princesses, and participants that helped make the
2006 Homecoming Half Time Extravaganza a blast!
