’09ers Kick-up Some Dust

The
Class of 2009 made their gridiron debut on Thursday, September 1 in a scrimmage
against the Woodson High School squad. Some observers noticed that the contest
looked more like a track meet than a football game, as Wildcat after Wildcat
burst into a long sprint into the end zone. Let me tell ya, those freshmen
were kicking-up some dust! Both teams played tough and hard. The ’09ers
from Centreville handled the Woodson crew with finesse and determination under
the leadership of their new coach, Jim Blumer.
