Last night the JV Wildcats traveled to Edison High School to meet the mighty Eagles. The JV squad continued to show that they are one of the best JV groups in the Northern region.

The Offense Scored midway through the 1st quarter on a TE dump pass to Steven Bisaga. While the Defense continued their dominance by not allowing Edison inside the 35 yard line during the entire 1st half. Along the way Heath Shelters recovered a fumble and the linebacking corps of Brett Blumer, Devon Kaplan, Tommy Dorrzapf and Brady Gleason kept the Edison running game in check. Scott Behne showed why he will be a great kicker in the future by connecting on 2 field goals (30 yards and 32 yards) the 2nd of which ended the 1st half.

The second half the offense showed that they can move the ball against a tough opponent. They chewed up the clock and gave the D the rest they needed. Edison did manage to score midway through the 4th quarter, ending the wildcat’s string of 11 consecutive quarters without allowing a score. Running back Curtis Porter sealed the victory by scoring on a 12 yard run with less than 3 minutes left to make the final score 19 to 6.
