JV wins second game 21-0

JV Wildcats survive a bear attack 21 to 0. The JV squad traveled to Lake Braddock Wednesday, September 22nd to face off against the mighty Bruins. The game started slow as it took a while for the Offense to get geared up. The Defense kept the Bruins at bay while the offense finally got on track with a score early in the 2nd quarter. Wildcats scored on a five yard run by Van Chew after Tommy Dorrzapf took an interception 35 yards to the Bruins 30 yard line. On the following offensive series the big O drove down to the Lake Braddock 12 yard line before the drive stalled. The D said not to worry as on the 1st play Mike Sollom picked up a fumble and went stumbling in to the end zone.

The 2nd half started with a fumble by the kickoff return team, and again the D stood tall and pushed the Bruins back 35 yards in 3 plays, forcing a punt. The JV did not let up the as the O continued to eat up clock and move the ball. The D was again led this week by Mike Sollom, Tommy Dorrzapf, and Shamar Woods. Final score, Wildcats 21, Bruins 0.
