JV and freshmen ‘end of season’ banquet

No More Football? Let’s Eat!

by Bari Kaplan | Updated November 5 2004

This year’s Freshman and JV teams have both gone 6-1 (so far—not including the Monday games vs Herndon). Come and celebrate another successful season! We will be having pizza, sodas and dessert! Festivities will begin in the CVHS cafeteria at 6:30PM on Wednesday, November 10th. Attire for ball players is a collared shirt (if nothing else, fashion a collar from paper if you MUST). Families can certainly attend the festivities, just be warned—there will be lots of teenage boy behavior!

Freshman families are being asked to contribute $5 towards the celebration. Please have your athlete deliver his $5 to Coach Morgan no later than Monday after the Herndon game.

JV families are being asked to bring two 2-liter bottles of soda, juice or water AND a dessert.

Help Us?

We need some help from JV and Freshmen parents! Four or five parent volunteers will be perfect. Bari Kaplan is coordinating the banquet plans. If you have any questions or can be available to assist in set up and/or cleanup, please email .

Memories

This should be lots of fun for everyone. We’ll be posting photographs of the event on WildcatNation—so use your best manners! Don’t have a ‘collared shirt’? We might be able to staple a paper collar to your shirt at the door.

Men Working

WildcatNation is working its way through an upgrade and some pretty heavy modifications. Please be patient as we work out all the kinks.

    Homecoming is Coming

Friday, October 24 is the Parade and big game. The entire week prior to the festivities will be packed with events. Keep checking the website for photos from Homecoming Week!

    New Photos

We have a new Flickr account that is getting packed with photos from all the 2008 Wildcat Football games. Click here to check out all the new pics. If you are "inside the building" at CVHS you might have trouble - complain to FCPS - cuz they're blocking Flickr!

    SYA Cheer Night

The Wildcat Football Program is hosting an SYA Cheer Night on Friday, September 26 - so the crowd will be huge! Come early to get the best seats for a rare Wildcat home game.

    Website Changes

Your favorite website is going through some upgrades and modifications. Be patient as things come together to make it even better!

    Help Our Auditorium

CVHS is working to enhance the school's auditorium. FCPS can't help - so we're on our own. Click here to read the news and learn how you can help.
